‘That this Council encourage local food businesses to use biodegradable solutions to packaging where ever possible and where the companies are franchised, to write to head office’.

8.         ‘In light of the introduction of new bye-laws for the Grand Canal, Royal Canal and Barrow Navigation by Waterways Ireland (Extended Mooring Permits), that we, as a Council, highlight/notify boat users throughout these navigable systems that moorings in Athy, north of the Horse Bridge are not subject to the new annual fees being introduced, as this stretch of water does not come under the remit of Waterways Ireland’.

 

9.         ‘That this Council asks the Minister for Communications and Natural Resources to consider an appropriate response to recent problems associated with the use of SIM cards in communication devices’.
